10 Douglas St - built circa1800s. It was the home of Robert and Janet Lendrum - and sons George, Noel, Colin and Jack. George and his wife (Mary) lived there until 1970s.
11 Pompallier Tec. Sydney and Lillian Lendrum lived there with their four children. Kathleen, Joyce, Brian and Beryl.

This magnificent home was erected in the early 1890s as a townhouse for saddler, George Allen. For the next ten years the house was let out to various tenants until it was sold in 1902.
Over the years, Allendale has been a private hospital, doctors rooms, boarding house, hostel for Maori girls and a refuge for alcoholics
Since 1989 the property has been home to the Auckland Savings Bank Community Trust.
