Brian Sydney 1921- (Only son of Sydney and Lilian (Stuart) Lendrum))
Brian has spent 50 years out of New Zealand; in that time he has been New Zealand's Ambassador to India and Moscow - he also represented New Zealand at the League of Nations in Geneva - a bank manager (Hong Kong) a intelligence officer in the middle east - he has been an adviser to many NZ Prime Ministers
Brian served with the 24th Infantry WW2
(In his house there is picture of himself standing next to Queen Elizabeth).
I met Brian - my great uncle, for the first time in his 89th year - at his home in Parnell, Auckland.
