SPCA Cupcake Day
Our school supports a maximum of two charities each year. In past years these have included guide dogs for the blind, Starship Hospitalcancer ward, Red Heart Day, and tsunami relief for Samoa. Next Monday, 27 August, is the SPCA official fundraising campaign. Samantha Lendrum, and Kira and Mia Longman are baking cupcakes to sell to their classmates, and will donate the proceeds to the SPCA. A separate note will come home with the children in these classes. Other children are invited to bring along a coin for the donation box. The SPCA often provides speakers for our junior classes so we are pleased to allow our children to play a small part in their national fundraising campaign.
